Feature Requests

Booking request emails are overly repetitive and difficult to manage. A single booking with 2 adults and 2 children generated 10 entries in one email, repeating traveler and supplier names unnecessarily. This format is confusing for suppliers, who have expressed their inability to work with it.

We create versions of a traveller itinerary to enable us to keep the original quote information so we have a record of all previous quote details as changes occur. What we have found is that when you duplicate an itinerary, the information, traveller details, booking references, contributors, tags and notes are not retained. We would like to be able to create duplicates of the itinerary with all of the information retained. Sometimes we duplicate itineraries for the purpose of creating an itinerary for a new customer. In this case the duplicate itinerary features is working as expected and we want this to continue.

The default dashboard dates looking back 1 year is not helpful for our needs. We need to be able to set the dates looking forward and NOT have it default back every time we leave the dashboard and re-enter. Please change this date field to customise and save so individual dashboard views are tailored to specific agents' needs

As an Organization Admin I want to be able to assign roles to different users that have certain permissions that limit what that User can or cannot do. As an example permission needs to be granted before a User can Edit supplier rates/content. Request: Ability for user with agent role to delete options at supplier level Request: There are certain users who are modifying the suppliers in the system. Client is looking to add some restrictions to few users that will not allow them to modify suppliers but allow them to only view and book the services. Probably this can be achieved by introducing a new user role. Request: Users who are junior updating or creating suppliers is a problem. Want to lock them out from updating Suppliers. Request: Control access levels and permissions to see specific details only (hide net rates and limit access to suppliers tab) Request: Introduce a role like a Super Admin who is the only one that can see information while normal admin will not see this details. Currently, when we assign an Admin role to any user, they can see the option to view the Manage subscription area in Tourwriter. This section has information about te last 4 digits of Credit card link which all the admin users can see. This is sometimes risky as any user who has left the company can try to get full credit card information and misuse it. Second issue with viewing the Manage subscriptions is that user can accidently or purposely can cancel the subscription if the get access to this area. Customer 1: Have 4 main Departments using Tourwriter Sales: Does reservations. Does not need access to Suppliers and Incoming payments Marketing: Creates Itinerary templates for Marketing Finance: To check Supplier rates with Supplier invoice Admins: Doing all other stuff like loading Supplier, Contacts, Resources and Images They want User Permission to be at User level and not for User Roles Customer 2: Have 5 main Departments using Tourwriter Designers(creates the itinerary, pricing). Agencies are loaded by the designers Delivery team(changes in the country, adding new country), Accounts: Payments incoming and supplier payments, Database admin(entry): loading images, providing back office support. Access to Contacts, resources Directors/Management/Administrators: Access to everything. Organisation They want User Permission to be at User Roles and not at User level

As a User writing a description for Supplier or product on a Postcard I would like more space so it is easier to edit the content

When you customise the itinerary to hide supplier details everything including the supplier's name is hidden. It would be very helpful to have the ability to just hide the contact details (phone and website) and ideally as an option in the edit box so it can be configured on a more tailored basis.

On the bookings tab, to help our booking departement to book faster, it would be nice to also have the suppliers restrictions & products restrictions informations (already visible on the pricing tab). When changing dates for an Item AND restriction will apply the restriction should be noticeable to the User agent like it is when first adding the Item. When duplicating an itinerary and Items have restrictions that will apply then they should be noticable like they are when first adding the Item.

We would like a pop-up window that displays the tour description during the itinerary building so that we know in detail what the tour includes without having to open a new tab and look at the tour description. Descriptions of Activities to be able to see other than the titles. We can’t just rely on the title of the tour to know what we are selling. For now we have to choose a tour add it in the itinerary and then go to "preview" it to be able to read the description to see if it makes sense before we decide if we want it for our client. Somehow for every tour we need to add a brief description so this way we can know if it’s the right tour for our client. Example: Title of a tour: Amalfi full-day tour to Capri (8 hrs) I need to see a small description to know exactly what the tour is about. Is it walking, with a vehicle, how long does it include?... I don't need a long description in detail just a short one If we have the ability to add short descriptions somewhere in the database for each activity it will give us the option to see what are the tours about before selling them, Short description - Board the fast jetfoil to the Island. Once on Capri, private vehicle for the tour of the island. Visit Anacapri, free time to climb Monte Solaro by chair-lift. Customers who want to provide their travellers with an Online itinerary want them to have digital Offline access in a comparable way to our competition such as Travefy. An itinerary version that can be viewed on a mobile while the traveller is offline, as this can cover connection outages and remote travel. Often referred to as we need an App but not necessarily an App. A Customer is currently paying $1000 a month to access Destination Travel App which they manually load up with Itinerary content.

I want to select a checkbox at Product setup so that when I add this product to an itinerary the Item is automatically assigned the Hide from itinerary and inclusions checkbox
