Set Flat/Fixed rate when booked for multiple days
Tourwriter Support
As a User I would like to setup flat rates for the Product-Options in the Supplier such that if its booked for 1-3 days, it will be charged the same price
We would like to see an option “calculate rate as flat rate” as we have many suppliers with multi day activities but the price is not per day but for the item as a whole.
For example a 3 day ferry ride is a flat rate of $400 per person but the price is getting multiplied by 3 and calculating as $1,200. For now we are manually correcting but it would be great to see a “flat rate” function added

We would like to see this updated as well. At the moment, we don’t really use the multi-day option for products because it is too time-consuming and creates too many opportunities for errors.
With the way this is currently set up, we would need to spend extra time doing one of two things:
- Load the rate differently by dividing the price by the number of days over which the activity takes place. However, this doesn’t reflect how suppliers actually price their multi-day products.
- Manually correct the pricing after adding the finish date. This means we need to note or remember the original price, add the finish date, and then manually re-enter the correct price.
Both approaches add unnecessary steps and increase the risk of pricing errors.
There is also another issue: some activities aren’t always multi-day. For example, stargazing in winter may start and finish on the same day because it gets dark earlier. In summer, however, the activity may finish after midnight and therefore technically span two days.
Because of this, loading the price as a “per day” rate isn’t the right approach for most products. Ideally, the pricing should remain based on the actual product rate, regardless of whether the activity happens to cross midnight or span over 3-4 days.
