As a user, I want to create an itinerary so I can use the itinerary for promotional purposes on websites or marketing campaigns or templates to duplicate for future travel without worrying it will expire or become inactive.
Currently, itineraries will go inactive if they are not confirmed and dates are within 14 days of travel.
The
current workaround
involves selecting the Confirmed checkbox, updating the Status to Duplication /Sample and/or setting the itinerary travel dates years into the future.
Notes from customers
Customers want an itinerary that doesn't relate to dates. That is for display purposes rather than pricing/booking purposes.
Would like to be able to make an itinerary e.g. 10 days that don't expire if promoted on our website.
Examples:
I am catering to packages and at this time I am trying to build itineraries, It would be so much nicer to have the ability to design an itinerary that would serve more of a template and just have the Days rather than duplicating it when it is about to become inactive then move the dates further away again.
Would be nice if there was an option where they could just create templates with no specific dates for their tours and have them ready once they get customers.
Would like to have an itinerary template with no dates that never expires as they have many featured itineraries on their website and they need to use these frequently.
Would like to add some example programs to our website with the link to TW itinerary but itineraries are getting inactive as the travel dates are getting close
