Entering dates using dd/mm/yyyy format taking into account locale settings for US region if applicable

When entering dates we should be able to type in the date (dd/mm/yyyy), in addition to selecting it on the calendar. This would make entering data much faster.
Currently, clicking through the calendar to find the needed date is too time consuming.
We can already change the year by typing in the last two numbers, but not the entire date. Assuming, this upgrade shouldn't be that difficult to action and would be very helpful.

Agreed. Our accounts team types numbers rather than using a mouse. and date formats should be clear for all travellers from any country

I also think that when sending the suppliers requests to confirm services the dates should have the month (name) spelled example: Request to confirm 05/06/2025. When being in the USA it's May 6, 2025 however for other countries it's 05 June 2025. This can become extremely confusing. In some areas of tour writer the date shows the month spelled out but in other areas it doesn't. This is important to have!
