Booking Request Email Format
in progress
Booking request emails can be overly repetitive and difficult to comprehend.
A single booking with 2 adults and 2 children generated 10 entries in one email, repeating traveler and supplier names unnecessarily.
This format is confusing for suppliers, who have expressed their inability to work with it.
Ideas include
- Avoid duplicating all supplier details; display common fields only once at the top of the email.
- Organize content in a table format for better readability.
- Allow for different suppliers sharing same email address with new Supplier name toggle
- Improve headings/subheadings for clarity
- Move Booking ref and Supplier note to per booking details
- Condense content by linking date, time, and location in a clear format, e.g., ‘26 Mar 2026, 2.30pm Wellington New Zealand’.
Planned new design
Below is the concept design to replace the current booking email template.

How about also indicating the DAY of the week and not just the date? This is also important as some services on certain dates do not operate

It's been nearly a year now with this being marked as planned, then under review, then back to open, and now planned again. I really hope this is actually fixed, it's a very basic request and is making us have to use workarounds as our suppliers literally will not accept the format. This leads to double the amount of work, risk of human error and renders a very basic feature unusable for our company.
Also not sure if it's just me but having an issue whereby the number of adult and children are not showing, see screenshots

Superb Krill - try turning on "quantities" - that might trigger the number to show on the request

I know this is now in the pipeline and I echo everything and want to highlight my support for this:
It would also be very helpful to be able to create a custom subject line so that we don't have to change the default with every single booking request we send out. This could be done by having customize fields that could be inserted into the booking email setup under the organization. Similar to the one currently used in the customization area for mapping traveler information.

Sina Zimmermann Hi Sina, I only asked because I saw this comment below so I thought it may have already been in the pipeline. Thank you!

Sina Zimmermann is there ETA on this please? We are new and this has a significant impact on how we will need to load our rates. Because I see if you add 3 different options to one product, it generates 3 booking requests and looks very confusing.
